Two Techniques, One Goal

At Golden Palm Bodywork, cupping may include both dynamic and stagnant techniques, depending on what your body needs.

Dynamic Cupping

Cups are gently glided across the skin and soft tissue, creating a lifting and mobilizing effect. This can help address fascial restrictions, encourage

Will cupping leave marks?

Stationary cupping can leave temporary circular marks caused by the suction's effect on superficial blood vessels. These marks are not bruises in the traditional sense, though they con look similar and usually fade over time.

Cupping pairs beautifully with myofascial and deep tissue work. If you're feeling especially tight or restricted, adding cupping allows us to approach the tissue from another direction—combining hands-on massage with the lifting and decompression created by the cups.
